Waste collection

Great Yarmouth Services Ltd is responsible for the collection of household waste within the Borough of Great Yarmouth. This includes:

• black bin collection for household rubbish, which are collected on a fortnightly basis
• green bin collection for household recycling, which are collected on a fortnightly basis

There are also two paid for services available to residents:

• brown bins for garden waste, which are collected on a fortnightly basis
• bulky item collection such as furniture, white goods, electricals, general household items, metal-based items and outdoor items. This service must be prepaid and is available as a weekly collection
